Secure your Space"Thank you again for organising such a wonderful weekend [...] I really love how you've created a space that embraces all types of women, no matter their backgrounds, age or fitness levels. It really shows through the snippets of chats I had with many of the ladies over the weekend, how each one of us was searching for something like TAGC and in finding it, we are thrilled to be surrounded by such strong resilient women encouraging us to be our best selves!"

Our Guides
Alice Keegan
Founder of The Adventure Girls Club & Mountain Leader
Alice founded the club in 2022 after years of feeling a bit out of place in the outdoor community. She wanted to create a softer anti-dote to the extreme, goal orientated ego-centric attitude to the outdoors. Alice is also a qualified mountain leader and loves sharing her love for the mountains with women who lack the confidence to go themselves.
Megan Endean
Mountain Leader
Megan is a Mountain Leader, currently based in the Midlands but grew up in Devon. Her hobby (obsession!?) with being outdoors started with her Bronze Duke of Edinburgh and she's never looked back since. She's passionate about improving accessibility to the outdoors, and aims to provide a safe and welcoming environment to all.
The Accommodation
We’ll be staying in Wye Valley Bunkhouse, a beautifully restored Grade II listed chapel nestled in the peaceful village of Glasbury-on-Wye. It’s a light, welcoming space where we can gather, rest, and reconnect. With cosy communal areas, a crackling log burner, and a big open games room, it will feel like our home for the weekend. The bunkhouse sleeps up to 18 people across bunkbeds, a double bed and single beds, and includes modern bathrooms, accessible facilities, and a fully equipped kitchen for shared meals. Just a short walk from the River Wye and surrounded by rolling valley views, it offers the perfect blend of comfort, nature, and calm — a place where we can slow down, breathe deeply, and settle fully into retreat mode.
The food:
The food will be home-cooked by our chef, Ella from Girls Who Dine. Ella will make indulgent, rejuvenating, sharing-style feasts using seasonal produce and local suppliers. All the food will be nutritious and balanced, with a variety of options to cater to all dietary requirements.
If you have specific allergies, please get in touch to check if these can be catered for, as we cannot always avoid cross-contamination.
Travel and Transport
Travel is not included, here is some more information on how to get there.
By Car
There is limited parking at the bunkhouse, however to minimise car emissions we encourage our guests to lift share as much as possible. We have a dedicated WhatsApp group for this.
By train/bus
You can get the train to Hereford and then a bus all the way to the bunkhouse in Glasbury. Alternatively you may be able to ask someone to collect you straight from a train station en-route.
Liftshare
It would be great to lift-share as much as possible, I will create a WhatsApp group where people can offer or request a lift.
